Older Toddler Teacher (full-time)
Child Development Program
CDP is a great place to work with children! This position is responsible for teaching, guiding and caring for toddlers (age 18-23 months as of September 1) in our all-day program. You will be in a classroom with 2 other teachers and 12 older toddlers.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or child development preferred.
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed child care facility
- CPR and First Aid certification (can be completed while employed)
- Demonstrated skill in working with children, planning developmentally appropriate lessons, guiding children, interacting positively with children, parents and co-workers
- Commitment to continuing professional education
- A committed Christian who is comfortable working in a United Methodist church
Working hours: 9 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday, year-round
